cratesIt’s June… a time for Dad’s, Grads, weddings and summer.  Need help with finding the perfect gift, we got you covered.  We have new wind chimes, crates, bird cages and of course lots of plants to choose from.birdhouse

potOur new DIY potting station is a big hit.  People enjoy having all they need at their fingertips.  It’s fun for both grownups and kids.  And speaking of kids, we have new gardening gloves and cute blue fish watering cans for kids.

yardsaleYard Sale @ North Park Nursery.  We have a new section at NPN which we refer to as Yard Sale. Yard Sale is Reclaimed building materials. It is a serve-yourself-area.  Staff is not available to help carry these items.

There is a local delivery fee of $25 with a delivery window of one to 2 weeks.  We recommend picking it up yourself.

Yard Sale items include but are not limited to:

Polygal: $4 a foot
Flagstone: $6 a foot
bricks .70 cents a piece –presently sold out
Lumber: 
4×4 $3 a foot
2×6 $2 a foot
2×4 $1.50 a foot

At  the moment we have a beautiful fountain for $250.  We also have a pygmy palm for $200.  These items move quickly and they are sold as is.

Featured Plant of the Month-Firefly

fireflyWhat you need to know:  It is a rounded, bushy, evergreen that grows to 20″ tall.  Flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies.

Flowers bloom: late spring/early summer.

Care:  Best grown in moderately fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Plant tolerates high heat and some part shade. It can become leggy as the growing season progresses.  Stem tips may be pinched as needed.
